Patsy O'Brien in Concert

Hailing originally from Cork in the south of Ireland, Patsy O’Brien has traveled the globe with guitar in hand ~ accompanying, creating and recording with some of the giants of Irish music, including Eileen Ivers, Paddy Keenan, Cathy Ryan and many more. Veteran Irish music critic Paul Dromey declares Patsy “Ireland’s best-kept musical secret”, after attending his opening performance for Kinky Friedman some years back. He is a veteran of leading Irish festivals around the country and we are blessed that he loves the Arkansas River Valley as much as we all do.

He’s no stranger to the region but this will be his first performance in Salida and A Church will be the perfect room to experience Patsy O’Brien. He’s a fantastic songwriter, singer, storyteller and guitarist, in addition to being a kind man—he has that special quality of feeling like an old friend the moment you meet him.
