Ellis Paul 30th Anniversary Concert w/ Don Conoscenti

Ellis Paul is one of those truly gifted singer/songwriters. Based in Massachusetts, Paul has been called the quintessential New England songwriter more than a few times and has garnered the recognition and awards to back up that claim. He is the real deal.

Though some may refer to him as a folk singer, he is more. A singular storyteller, a musician whose words reach out from inside and yet also express the feelings, thoughts and sensibilities that most people can relate to in one way or another, regardless of age or upbringing. The exhilaration of the open road. A celebration of heroes. The hope for redemption. Descriptions of those things that are both near and dear. The sharing of love... intimate, passionate and enduring.

Joining him on this tour is Don Conoscenti. Don is no stranger to Salida, having played with Ellis and Don Richmond over the years.

Once a die-hard rocker, he later earned acclaim as a jazz guitarist. But he is best known for dynamic acoustic folk performances characterized by a distinctive use of multiple and partial capos and a wide-ranging instrumental proficiency that includes six and 12-string guitar, steel guitar, piano, drums, percussion, flute, recorder, didgeridoo, mandolin, banjo and harmonica.
